Joining a basketball team is a fun way for young players to develop their game. You’ll learn essential basketball skills like shooting, footwork and dribbling – and get the chance to put your new skills to the test in real team competitions.
Players in fifth through eighth grade can join a team in the fall and winter season.
Registration is now open for the 2025/26 season.

When you sign up for Sanford Sports Academy, you’ll learn from experienced coaches in our state-of-the-art facilities located in the Fargo Parks Sports Center at the Sanford Sports Complex in Fargo.
Sanford Sports Academy provides year-round one-on-one and small group training and lessons for athletes of all ages and skill levels at the Fargo Parks Sports Center.
1-on-1 Training
Small Group Training and Lessons
Sanford Sports Academy offers Drop-in Training sessions throughout the summer for middle school and high school athletes at the Fargo Parks Sports Center. Registration is not required.
Sanford Sports Academy offers a variety of camps and clinics year-round at the Fargo Parks Sports Center, designed to provide focused training in a short period of time. Whether it’s a one-day clinic or a multi-day camp, each session is tailored to specific skills and age groups, with options available for all experience levels.
Skills covered, age ranges, durations and costs vary by session, allowing athletes to choose the experience that best fits their goals.
Every summer, Sanford Sports Academy hosts the Who’s Next Combine at the Fargo Parks Sports Center. The Who’s Next Combine is designed to showcase the advanced talent in our region and provide an opportunity to compete against the best. Led by our Sanford Sports Academy staff, players go through skill development stations, performance measurements and 5-on-5 live play in front of college coaches from the region.
