Strength and Conditioning Coach

Wiliam Perry is a strength and conditioning coach at Sanford Sports in Fargo. He started in 2025.

Perry started his career as a personal trainer in Grand Junction, Colorado, where he taught fitness classes and worked with athletes and individuals recovering from injuries. He then worked as a rehab aide in an orthopedic physical therapy clinic and started strength coaching.

Perry understands every individual has different goals to reach and limitations to overcome. He strives to make every workout count and believes any goal is achievable with time and effort. He describes his coaching style as tough but flexible. Perry understands that life happens and will adapt workouts and programs to fit the athletes he works with.

Perry enjoys working at Sanford Sports because of the wide variety of people he works with and helps. He appreciates working in an environment where everyone gives their best and cares for those around them. Perry says Sanford Sports has been an amazing opportunity for him, and he has improved as a coach as he has helped others reach their goals.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Northern State University. Perry is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NCSA). He is also a certified exercise physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
