
Chris Musselman
Senior High School Strength and Conditioning CoachChris Musselman is a senior high school strength and conditioning coach. He started at Sanford Sports in 2022.
Musselman has implemented athletic development programs for high school athletes across the nation, assisting in the opening of two new high schools in Arizona and the Moorhead High School campus in the Fargo-Moorhead area. He excels in creating effective health and wellness cultures in public education communities and applying training systems that allow large groups of athletes to train safely, efficiently and effectively.
Musselman believes the strength and conditioning field has provided him with a platform to coach and mentor the next generation of great athletes, leaders, innovators and working professionals. He focuses on the mental, physical and competitive growth of each individual. He believes training should be empowering rather than intimidating. He strives to define and cultivate “championship” habits and behaviors that student athletes can demonstrate in every facet of their lives. Musselman believes the same habits that are necessary to reach a training goal are necessary to reach many life goals.
Musselman appreciates working at Sanford Sports because of the extremely talented professionals who are aligned and committed to providing a safe and optimal training experience for all athletes. His peers motivate him every day to be the best version of himself as he works to represent the Sanford Sports Performance family in a professional and dutiful manner.
Musselman is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), level 1 certified through USA Weightlifting and CPR certified. In 2020, he was awarded Coach of the Year through the National High School Strength Coaches Association.
