Trystan Tatum
Strength & Conditioning CoachTrystan Tatum is a high school and college strength and conditioning coach at Sanford Sports. He started in 2025.
Tatum began his coaching career as a strength and conditioning intern at the University of North Dakota. He later attended Dickinson State University as a graduate assistant coach and currently serves as the assistant director of strength and conditioning. He is also the head strength coach at New England High School.
Tatum strives to create a positive and encouraging environment where athletes can have fun and work hard. He values maintaining organized, fast-tempo training sessions. Tatum also gets to know his athletes beyond their sport so he can help maximize their potential.
He enjoys the growth opportunities available through Sanford Sports, including a network of like-minded coaches who support each other.
Tatum earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from UND. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
