
Nolan LaValley
Strength and Conditioning CoachNolan LaValley is a strength and conditioning coach at Sanford Sports. He started in 2021.
LaValley attended the University of Mary where he earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science and master’s degree in business administration while playing Division II football.
Prior to joining Sanford Sports, LaValley worked as a strength and conditioning coach in both collegiate and private settings. He has experience working with a wide range of athletes, from children to older adults and Olympic hopefuls.
When preparing a training plan, LaValley considers each athlete’s needs and works collaboratively with them to pair metrics with their goals. He wants athletes to find value and enjoyment in their training.
LaValley enjoys working at Sanford Sports because of the opportunity to work with great athletes, colleagues and mentors. He believes Sanford Sports is a special place to be and provides some of the best facilities and resources in the region.
LaValley is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He is certified in Functional Movement Screen and is a certified performance coach through USA Weightlifting and Parisi Speed School.
