Match Times, Broadcast Info Set for 2025 AVCA First Serve

Posted: June 30, 2025
The schedule has been finalized for AVCA First Serve, which will bring together 10 of the nation’s Division I women’s volleyball teams to open the 2025 season. The first three days include doubleheaders on Aug. 22–24 at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska, and two matches will take place Aug. 25 at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
In addition to the sellout crowds at the two venues for the marquee matches, all eight contests will be broadcast on national networks. The Friday matches are on FOX and Saturday’s matches are on FS1. The Sunday doubleheader is on ESPN, and Monday evening’s matches will be on Big Ten Network. ESPN’s coverage will include live, in-arena analysis between the matches.
“We are excited to get the 2025 women’s season started with four days of great college volleyball,” says AVCA CEO Dr. Jaime Gordon. “The arenas will be packed, and we are grateful to have FOX Sports, ESPN, and the Big Ten Network bringing the matches to a global audience.”
“From the moment it was announced that AVCA First Serve was coming to the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, the response from the community has been overwhelming,” said Steve Young, president of Sanford Sports. “The excitement continues to build as we get closer and closer to the matches, and we look forward to an incredible night of volleyball on Heritage Court.”
