Strength & Conditioning Coach

Anda Kuzmina is a strength and conditioning coach at Sanford Sports in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She started in 2025.

Kuzmina holds bachelor’s degrees in psychology and exercise and sports science, as well as a master’s degree in sports management with a certificate in leadership.

She was a graduate assistant and assistant coach at Minot State University. Kuzmina played Division I basketball at University of South Carolina Upstate where she was named Freshman Female Athlete of the Year and was on the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Freshman Team. She finished her career playing Division II basketball at Western Colorado University. Kuzmina also represented her home country of Latvia in international competition on the U20 and 3x3 national teams.

Kuzmina knows athletes perform best when they feel supported, so she emphasizes building relationships and demonstrating care. She aims to create a positive and fun environment while also emphasizing discipline, commitment and a willingness to improve.

She values Sanford Sports as an environment where everyone is challenged to improve, including coaches and trainers.

Kuzmina is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
