
Rhonda Olson
Athletic Trainer, Return to Performance SpecialistRhonda Olson is an athletic trainer and return to performance specialist at Sanford Sports. She started in 2024.
Olson was a rehab specialist and athletic trainer at St. Mary’s Central High School for 10 years before joining the collegiate setting as the director of sports medicine at the University of Mary. She led injury prevention, treatment and rehabilitation for 400 athletes and supervised athletic training staff.
Olson enjoys getting to know the athletes she works with and understanding their goals for returning to sport. She implements daily goals and competitive challenges to help athletes improve daily, and she is excited to see them return to their sport.
She values Sanford Sports for the positive environment, supportive staff and collaborative atmosphere that pushes athletes to return to sport at a competitive level.
Olson earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from North Dakota State University and her master’s degree in education from the University of Mary. She is a certified mental health coach. Olson is also certified in RockTape and Level 2 Graston Technique.
