Randy Martin is the manager of Sanford Sports Performance in Fargo, North Dakota. He has been with Sanford Sports since 1999.

Martin earned his bachelor’s degree in fitness and sports science from Minnesota State University Moorhead and his master’s degree in human performance from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

As manager of Sanford Sports Performance, Martin oversees the development and expansion of Performance services, focusing on enhancement, injury prevention and return to activity. He has extensive experience in sports performance, exercise physiology and fitness training for athletics and medicine. 

Martin’s expertise includes creating individualized sport-specific and fitness-based programs, collaborating with sports medicine professionals and driving initiatives to continually improve performance and health outcomes.

His coaching philosophy is deeply rooted in tailoring every aspect of an athlete’s or adult’s program to their unique needs, limitations, medical history and goals. He focuses on a balanced approach that incorporates speed, agility, strength, power, flexibility and cardiovascular training to help clients maximize their performance. Building trust and a strong coach-client relationship is key to Martin, allowing him to push athletes safely beyond their perceived limits while prioritizing long-term development.
