About the Vikings
Augustana swept last weekend over Concordia-St. Paul by an average of 42 points and are now 4-2 on the season and 2-2 in the NSIC. Isaac Fink tallied his first-career double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds in Friday's win and followed with a 22-point performance on Saturday.

For the season, it's Tyler Riemersma who leads the Vikings with 14.8 points and 9.2 rebounds per game while Michael Schaefer is second at 14 points per outing. In all, five Vikings average double figures with Fink at 11.5, Matt Todd at 11.2 and Adam Dykman at 10.5 points per game.

Augustana has gotten really good at forcing teams into turnovers while also not creating its own turnovers. The Vikings are the nation's leaders in fewest turnovers at 9.2 per game while ranking fourth with a 1.65 assist-to-turnover ratio.

About the Warriors
In what is already a weird season, Winona State has not played a home game this season, embarking on the fourth weekend of games. Due to various COVID-19 protocols, Winona State is 2-1 on the season, having picked up a weekend sweep at Upper Iowa last weekend. Prior to that, the Warriors last played on opening day, Jan. 2, an 81-59 loss at Minnesota Duluth.

NSIC South Division Preseason Player of the Year Kevion Taylor is the Warriors leading scorer at 18.7 points per game while tying for the team lead at 6.5 rebounds per outing. Andrea Lo Biondo ranks second in scoring at 11 points per contest as Devin Whitelow rounds out those scoring in double figures at 10.3 per game.

Winona State prevailed in a pair of two-point contests at Upper Iowa, winning on Saturday, 81-79, and following on Sunday, 92-90. Taylor averaged 16.5 points over the two games and grabbed seven rebounds per.

One Last Thing
Augustana, currently pacing five in double-figure scoring, last had five players average double figures in the 2017-18 season. That year, Jordan Spencer was the team's leading scorer at 15.5 points per outing. Adam Dykman, one of the current Vikings in double-digit scoring, was on that team and tallied 10.9 points per outing while starting all 30 games.
