Summit League to allow limited fans at volleyball championships

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Summit League officials announced Thursday that a limited number of tickets totaling 320 will be available for the 2020 Summit League Volleyball Championship. Tickets will be available for purchase at the Sanford Pentagon Box Office and at www.ticketmaster.com on Monday, March 29, beginning at 10 a.m. CT.

Each participating school’s allotment has been secured and all remaining tickets are being made available for purchase by the public.

The 2020 Volleyball Championship, which is being competed this spring because of the Covid-19 pandemic, will be held April 2-3 at the Sanford Pentagon. The first semifinal match is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT and the second semifinal will begin at 6 p.m. CT. A full bracket will be released Saturday evening at the conclusion of all regular season matches on the league’s website at www.thesummitleague.org.

A ticket for entry into Friday’s semifinal matches will be $20 and will include admission for both matches. Saturday’s Championship ticket will be $10.  All seating will remain general admission and limited to designated, socially distanced areas. There will be no student price for tickets and children two and under can get in free.

Re-entry is prohibited and masks are required for all in attendance.
