SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Premier college and high school golfers from the region will compete and showcase their skills at the third annual Sanford Golf Futures Tour.
The two-day competition begins August 3 at the Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort and finishes August 4 at Willow Run Golf Course. This invitation-only event will be divided into boys and girls and college women and men. The 120-plus competitors consist of state champions from seven states as well as golfers from 15 colleges including NCAA Division I and II schools. Isabella McCauley, 2019 high school girls champion, and Teresa Toscano, 2019 college women’s champion, are two of the past winners competing in this year’s event.
“Our objective from day one with the Sanford Golf Futures Tour was to provide a true championship tournament experience for the golfers in the upper Midwest,” said Todd Kolb, director of the Sanford POWER Golf Academy. “This year we will once again have a collegiate and high school division with over 120 of the best players in the region competing in the two-day event. Our two host venues, Grand Falls Golf Resort and Willow Run Golf Course, provide two distinct and different championship challenges. It is setting up to be a fantastic experience, and we could not be more excited about this year's event.”
