"I am excited to bring the LFA lightweight championship back to South Dakota," said Ed Soares, CEO of LFA. "Bryce Logan and Jacob Rosales are two of our most popular fighters as they both got their start in RFA before the merger. They will face each other for the vacant LFA lightweight title on Friday, April 17th. This will add another chapter to the state's MMA history, which began with its first sanctioned event at RFA 17."
More fighters will be announced later.
The Sanford Pentagon has hosted various mixed martial arts events since 2014, including Bellator 204 in August 2018 and multiple RFA/LFA cards. More than a dozen fighters who have competed at the Pentagon have gone on to fight for Bellator or UFC.
Great Shots will host the weigh-ins for LFA 86 on April 16.
Blue Rock Bar and Grill will host the official pre-and post-fight party starting on April 17. There will be appearances by celebrity athletes, as well as drink and happy hour specials.
