South Dakota this Saturday is celebrating its second Annual Hockey Day. Hockey Day in South Dakota is a special day that gives hockey fans and players of all ages an opportunity to experience the game in a unique way.
The day consists of 11 games, eight of which will be held at the Scheels IcePlex at the Sanford Sports Complex. The remaining three will take place at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center and will conclude with the Sioux Falls Stampede vs Sioux City Musketeers rivalry game. The puck drop is scheduled for 7:05.
During the Stampede game, fans will have to opportunity to take part in a scavenger hunt, take pictures in a hockey themed photo booth and celebrate youth hockey organizations from around the state. After the game, fans are invited to lace up their skates and enjoy an on-ice skating party where players will be signing autographs.
Tickets for games at the PREMIER Center are $12.00 and can be used at both the Sioux Falls Flyers games and the Stampede game that night. To buy your tickets in advance, visit the Stampede office, or buy your tickets the day of the game at the PREMIER Center.
