Spring Arbor defeats Oregon Tech to win the 2019 NAIA DII National Championship game at the Sanford Pentagon

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The 2019 NAIA DII National Championship concludes Tuesday night as Spring Arbor defeats Oregon Tech 82-76. 

Led by tournament MVP Paul Marandet, the Cougars looked strong and were in control the entire game. The Cougars held off a late surge from the Husltin' Owls of Oregon Tech in order to secure their first men's hoops championship in school history. 

Sophmore Guard Brandon Durnell led all scorers with 32 points and an impressive display of shooting, going 12-17 from the field and 4-7 from three point range. 

46 games in 12 days at the Pentagon concludes with the Cougars bringing home some hardware back to Spring Arbor, Michigan.
